For whom the Industrial Engineering field of study is

More and more complex challenges that modern industry faces to the engineers result in necessity to have interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to be adapted to rapidly changing environment. The engineers have to be flexible, creative, open to learning and development of their skills concerning usage of modern tools, methods and technologies comprising the latest software solutions and digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, data analysis or Internet of Things (IoT), as well as ability of effective usage of advanced manufacturing technologies, materials or automation of processes.

The Industrial Engineering field of study combines elements from area of technical sciences, management, computer science and economics, preparing the graduates to effective functioning in dynamic and competitive business environment through acquiring solid theoretical foundations and practical skills, which can be used in various industries and sectors of economy.

By choosing this field of study, You will acquire knowledge and competences enabling designing, management and optimization of production processes and creation of innovative solutions, in accordance with international standards and requirements of contemporary industry.

During the first-cycle studies (classes conducted in English language)

You will acquire knowledge and skills in the area of technical sciences, management, information technology and economics, adapted to requirements of modern industry and enabling You to achieve professional success in various sectors of economy.

Graduate of the Industrial Engineering field of study can continue his education at the second-cycle studies, in the following fields (classes conducted in Polish language):

  • Mechanical Engineering and Machinery Construction - specialty: Designing and 3D Printing technologies, Computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), Vehicles and Engines,
  • Management and Production Engineering - specialty: Engineering of an enterprise management, IT systems of an enterprise, Engineering of industrial innovations, and Engineering of economy administration.

During the second-cycle studies, You will expand your knowledge and You will develop your skills in the field of mechanical engineering and machinery construction, designing, modeling and 3D Printing technology, as well as organization and management of manufacturing systems.
